*Jaden pre-school Xmas Program*

I walk into Jaden's pre-school today, and he takes my hand and sits me down (wearing his cute little Santa hat). Not going to lie I almost lost it then and there with tears haha. His little program was so well done, and it's amazing how much he  has learned over the course of four months.
Pretty sure he melted all the mom's hearts with his sweet little voice!!

*Thanksgiving at the Dunes 2014*

Dune season is once again upon us, and of course we would not spend Thanksgiving anywhere else but the sand dunes. I love going to the sand dunes for Thanksgiving, and one being that there is such little mess and preparation for our turkey feast. Since there are so many people there and everyone contributes one thing it all just becomes very easy and enjoyable. We had lots of fun this year riding quads, spending time with family, and just hanging out!

The Jaden and Brityn duo! These two have so much fun together all the time and are best friend cousins.

My bubba Eli, that face just gets me every time. Life would just not be complete without this little angel in our family.

Jaden did SO well riding his little quad this year. It's only a matter of time till he is going out in the dunes to ride with the big boys. He was made for the sand dunes, although I can't say the same for Eli haha, every time someone started up a quad or dirt bike he was screaming bloody murder, poor boy.

We don't mess around when it comes to eating at the dunes. Josh brought our Traeger smoker grill and smoked the most incredible baby back ribs for us and they were so delicious!!

*Jaden's pre-school Thanksgiving*

Yeah life has been really busy, so all the next few posts I do are catch up...

I love how creative Jaden's pre-school teacher is, and how fun she makes each holiday! They had a cute little Thanksgiving feast and dressed up like little Pilgrims, pretty sure it doesn't get any cuter than this.

*Happy Halloween 2014*

Halloween was low key this year, Jaden finally grew out of the pirate costume and graduated into a new superman costume haha yeaaaa!! Eli, of course was just the right size for the pirate costume so of course that's what he was. They both looked super adorable though, and I loved watching them "trick or treat". Eli looked especially adorable because he is so little walking up to the doors and saying "trick or treat" in baby chiberish haha, I loved it! My battery on my camera had to die right before going out, so no good pictures unfortunately, I got a few on the camera phone though.
Of course Halloween night had to be the only hot night in October, so the boys were pretty toasty in their costumes.

I almost forgot to add Jaden's super cute pre-school Halloween party picture.
Seriously cutest little pre-school class ever and I love love love his sweet teacher!!

*Final Party*

We had a last little family birthday celebration for Jaden on that Sunday, so that we could give Jaden our gifts that we didn't give at his party. So it's no secret that Jaden is pretty much OBSESSED in every way with trains. His whole life revolves around anything that is train or train related. He even watches youtube videos of trains and kids playing with "Thomas" tracks and trains. For the Primary program in church he had to say what his favorite creation was, he said "trains".  Jaden got a lot of cool gifts, but pretty sure mom and dad take the cake for the best gift this year!!

Grammy and Grandpa got him a Spiderman sleeping bag, which he now sleeps with every night!
So for his birthday I got him the only thing that I knew would get hours upon hours of playing time and that is a "Thomas" the train track theme set. Yes, he already has a million wooden tracks and trains, but this one comes with an automatic Thomas that goes up and down hills and through tunnels, which is basically the coolest thing ever to a train loving four year old!

This picture says it all, and the happiness on his face makes it worth every penny! Happy birthday to my first born baby, I hope turning four was magical and everything you hoped it would be, I can't wait to watch you grow into a big five year old!!!

*Jaden's Birthday Party*

I asked Jaden what he wanted for the theme of his birthday this year, and of course he said "Thomas" ( that's what he says every year lol). I then said let's do something different since we already did that, and so he said "Angry Birds", which hey it's something we have not done so "Angry Birds" it was. Jaden was super excited for his birthday since he understands the concept now, so it was really exciting to plan and prepare for his party this year. We have had his party at our house for the last few years (big mess and lot's of work), and I was really leaning towards doing it at the gym I work at (since I get a discount and they do all the work, and no mess for me to clean up), but was not sure how many people would come and if it was worth the money. So in the end I decided to do it at this really awesome park a few miles away from our house, and it turned out great! This might be the longest post ever because of all the pictures, so get comfy!
I loved how all of his decorations turned out and probably went a little overboard, but it was totally worth it! I really love the store Party City, because they basically have everything you need for a themed birthday party in that one store.

My dad was the pizza delivery man for the party, got to love family for helping out!!

The cupcake cake turned out super cute. Seriously the best idea ever and will be doing this every year, makes for easy serving.

Jaden and Matt have been best friends for going on two years now, they have pretty much grown up together and hope their friendship lasts forever!

Eli and his cousin Ashlee

So grateful that Jaden had so much love and support from friends and family at his birthday party! We had a great turn out and the whole party was so much fun. I was also so happy that my sister and nephew could be here from London for his birthday, love my sister more than words!

Unc J and Jaden!

The "Angry Birds" party theme would not of been complete with the the piggy pinata, which the kids had a blast hitting the crap out of till all the candy came out..huge hit!!

Jaden and cousin Brityn!

LOVE LOVE Arizona sunsets, and could not resist taking a picture of the beauty this state gives us at sundown!

All the little minions scrounging for candy hahaha

This boy of mine was spoiled with lots of presents this year from all his friends and family, love you all for making his day so special!

Best friend love!

Of course what would be a birthday without the traditional double cheek kiss?!? Someday I can't wait to go back and put every birthday kiss together and see how we have all changed over the years. Josh's family started this tradition and I'm glad that we have kept going with it each year.

This present was from Grandma and Papa Bracken, his cool new scooter! He is still trying to get the hang of it but we all get lots of fun out of it. Jaden's party this year was a great success and I'm pretty sure he loved it!

*Honeymoon*

Josh and I went on a wonderful honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico for 8 day 7 nights in an all inclusive resort. We had a blast from relaxing on the beach, swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling, all the way to taking a tour to the Chichen-itza Pyramids (that was Josh's favorite). All and all it was a very fun and romantic honeymoon and we owe it all to my new in-laws for making it possible!
