*Light Rail/Tempe Town Lake*

Just realized this post is out of order but oh well. So Josh had two whole weeks off of work during the Christmas/New Year holidays so we took full advantage of having lots of fun. One of the days we decided to take the light rail train down to a beautiful lake and park in Tempe. Jaden and his friend Matt of course LOVED the light rail ride and running all around like crazy kids. My sister and her little family were also visiting from London, along with her sweet in-laws who were visiting from Pennsylvania so they could meet their new grandson and my sweet baby nephew Hudson. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun just walking around and talking.

*The Polar Express*

Jaden is beyond obsessed with trains (especially Thomas). So of course when Papa introduced the Polar Express movie to him a month or two ago he was hooked and that's all he wanted to talk about and watch. During the holidays they have an actual Polar Express train ride that goes to the "North Pole" and back, so of course we just had to do it with Jaden. Papa booked the tickets and in the beginning of January off we went to Flagstaff for our Polar Express adventure! On the train ride you get yummy hot chocolate, cookies, sing Christmas carols, and Santa comes on the train and gives all the kids a bell.

Such a fun and magical experience for the kids, so worth it!! Although it's a pretty long drive from Gilbert to Flagstaff, so I think next year we will maybe make a weekend trip out of it and get a hotel.

*Super late...... Christmas 2013*

Life has been so busy for our family lately that I have not gotten around till now to post about Christmas, and many other fun things that have happened. Anyways, Christmas was tons of fun this year, Jaden understood for the most part the whole Santa thing and was pretty excited on Christmas morning to see what he brought. I truly LOVE to buy toys and fun things for my kids and I had to stop myself from going too crazy otherwise we would of gone totally broke hahah. It's so fun to see there faces light up on Christmas morning and get so excited with all the new fun things to play with (being a parent especially on birthday and holidays is the BEST)!!

All of our family lives close so of course we had to make our usual round to both my family and Josh's on Christmas Day.First we started at our house with Santa's and Mommy/Daddy presents:

Santa left a message for Jaden on his new Lego table!

Love our new personalized stockings!!

*Honeymoon*

Josh and I went on a wonderful honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico for 8 day 7 nights in an all inclusive resort. We had a blast from relaxing on the beach, swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling, all the way to taking a tour to the Chichen-itza Pyramids (that was Josh's favorite). All and all it was a very fun and romantic honeymoon and we owe it all to my new in-laws for making it possible!
