*Four Months Old*

Eli is now 4 months old and weighing in at 12lbs even! He has doubled his birth weight and then some, so proud of him for packing on the chunk! He is still sleeping through the night which really blesses my life and all around is a very happy baby. Smiles and laughs all the time and loves when people talk to him. He is like Jaden in that he doesn't like to be held for a super long period of time unless he is nursing and falls asleep. Love him to pieces and really don't like that he is growing up so fast, I am just soaking in this sweet infant stage as much as I can. It makes me sad that I already have to put away the newborn clothes and he is already in size 2 diapers (although size 1 still fits him) but since I buy the big Costco boxes I want to keep ahead of his growing.

*First swim of the summer*

We have a very pretty pool in our backyard, however, we really have never taken care of it like we should so it got kind of bad for awhile. I was supposed to be the responsible one taking care of it, but with kids and being busy never really did the job I should have. So after I got the landscaping all nice my wonderful hubby decided to become our pool man and be the expert. So he drained our pool, acid washed the entire thing himself, put all new fresh chemicals in, cleaned out the big filter tank and PRESTO it's like new again. The water is still too cold for Eli so he did not get to participate in the first swim, but Jaden being the tough boy he is loved it! Having a pool really is a lot of work and expensive but worth it if you live in this HOT HOT state.
