*Bracken Family Vacation*

Well this summer has been to say the least very eventful so far. Josh's family does a big vacation every year and usually we go to San Diego,However this year they decided to do an East Coast vacation which included the following:

*Hill Cumorah Pageant

So being LDS you would think I would know what this was about but yeah no I didn't haha. I did find out though that it's all about the Book of Mormon and the Hill Cumorah is where the golden plates were burried. I can now proudly say I understand The Book of Mormon. So if anyone doesn't understand go see the pageant cause it does a great job of breaking it down in a way slow people like me can understand lol.

*Church History Sites

We visited the Joseph Smith Farm, the Sacred Grove, and the first Book of Mormon publishing house, all which were amazing to visit.

*Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls was amazing. We took a ride on the Maid of the Myst right up to the falls and of course got SOAKED! It was SOOOO humidly hot that we were all happy to get wet.

*New York City

We finished off this wonderful vacation with fabulous New York City!! We went to the top of the Empire State Building, Ellis Island (toured the immigration building), Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Time Square, Central Park, The store DASH (my sister in-law Aubrey and I are Kardashian fans haha), Chinatown (which we ate at the most AMAZING Chinese food restaurant), took a tour bus all over Manhattan, and into Brooklyn and the Bronx. My amazing father in-law also used his company connections and got Box Suite New York Mets tickets. It was so nice and I don't think I'll ever be able to go to another baseball game in regular seats haha.

This was an amazing vacation and it was made possible by my wonderful in-laws, so thank you so much to them!! From New York, I headed back to Arizona for a week to visit my family, then ended in Idaho for a family reunion. I am now back to reality in Washington, which it feels good to be back into routine, cool weather and to be home with my hubby again!

*Honeymoon*

Josh and I went on a wonderful honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico for 8 day 7 nights in an all inclusive resort. We had a blast from relaxing on the beach, swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling, all the way to taking a tour to the Chichen-itza Pyramids (that was Josh's favorite). All and all it was a very fun and romantic honeymoon and we owe it all to my new in-laws for making it possible!
