*Jaden's 5th Birthday*

I have a five year old!! I'm really starting to feel old, and I can't believe how time has flown. I truly love this age and the stage we are in with Jaden. He is only getting sweeter and smarter with age and I can't say I wish him to be any younger! This year I decided to have Jaden's birthday party at the gym I work at. They do all the work for you and I just get to sit back and relax (plus I get an amazing discount, so why not)?

Stats on Jaden at 5 years old:

Weight: 30lbs (such a little thing)

Likes: Star Wars, Pre-School, drawing, playing with his friends, building legos, reading books, watching star wars movies and WALL-E, singing Church Primary songs, and playing/fighting with his brother.

Dislikes: Getting his face wet and putting gel in his hair

My baby is also starting Kindergarten next year so that will be a big step as well.

Jaden has moved on from Thomas the Train (sad day) and is now focused 100% on Star Wars. So that was the theme this year! He pretty much got EVERYTHING Star Wars and is in heaven right now with all his new toys. Since I work pretty much every day, Jaden has made lots of friends at my work, so half the kids we invited were from the gym. The party was the Saturday before his real birthday, they started out jumping around in the bounce house, then played gym games (scooter races and just pushing each other around and lots more bounce house! Here is a picture overload of the party.

This is the one and only Emillio, one of Jaden's very best friends at the gym.
This is Jaden's best little girlfriend Ava, they are pretty much inseparable at the gym.

Fun Gym Games!

My co-worker Zach who did such a great job at entertaining the kids, because he is totally one of them.

Time for presents, presents, and more presents...

Emily is another one of my co-workers who is totally awesome, love her!!

A birthday would not be complete without Jaden's very best friend Matt!

This picture was taken on Jaden's actual birthday over at my in-laws house! It's the traditional birthday cheek kiss. Oh how I have cherished these last five years with my sweet baby boy Jaden, I love him more than words can say, and proud to be his mama forever! Love you sweet boy and happy birthday!!!

*Labor Day Lake Powell Trip*

Last Lake Powell trip of the season was amazing!! September is truly the BEST time to go because the weather is beautiful and the lake temp is amazing. This was a great five day trip that I was sad to have come to an end. We arrived late Wednesday night and stayed through Monday (Labor Day). I also slalomed skied (single ski) for the very first time, which was seriously the best accomplishment ever. I have double skied, wake boarded, and wake surfed but had yet to tackle slalom skiing, which is the hardest I think of the ski sports. I got up on double ski's then dropped a ski down to one, and it only took a couple of tries. Needless to say I'm very proud of myself and hope to keep practicing till the summer ends. So here are a bunch of pictures from our trip!

Josh brought his parents's little quad for the kids to ride, and they had a blast going on trips every day with daddy! I just love taking close up pictures of my kids, I truly can't get enough of them.

My brother just recently got a chocolate lab, so Eli had lots of fun playing with her, and think he made a new best friend.

Sorry I'm not sorry for the picture overload. I also still have more pictures to come from Josh's phone so stay tuned...

*Seven Years Wedding Anniversary*

Seven years of marriage, eight years together, and two baby boys later, I think enough said hahaha no jk. This year we debated weather to go all out for our anniversary or keep it low key, well all out won! I asked my parents a couple weeks in advance if they could watch the kids while we went away for the weekend and of course they said yes!
(My Facebook/Instagram Post)
To start out the weekend on Friday we decided to take a much needed trip to the Temple. The Gilbert, Temple happened to be closed for maintenance so we went to the Mesa, Temple (which was the one we were married in seven years ago)! Oh how amazing you feel after a good Temple session and the love that it rekindles in your marriage. I could not imagine not being with my sweetheart forever, and am so glad we were able to be sealed for time and all eternity.

It's so blasted hot here in AZ that we wanted to go where it was somewhat cooler, and lucky for us just an hour and a half away is Payson where it's about 30-40 degrees cooler (for that reason I love AZ). So we packed up Saturday morning, said goodbye to the kids and off we went. We got to Payson around lunch time so had a nice lunch, then checked into our hotel and relaxed a little before we headed up to the Mountain Spa for our couples massages. Before the massages we took a dip in the pool and jacuzzi which was lots of fun. The massages were absolutely amazing, and something I desperately needed, especially for my poor lower back. After massages we went back to our hotel to clean up and get ready for dinner. Now Payson doesn't have a lot of fine dining because it's such a small town so we went to the local Chili's and had a good old American dinner. We ate dinner, then back to our hotel for a relaxing night together just the two of us.
The next day we woke up 8:00 am (which is sleeping in for us, I know lame right haha)?! Had a super yummy breakfast, checked out of our hotel, then drove up the mountain to go mountain bike riding. It ended up raining and hailing so we just did a super short bike ride. After bike riding it was back home we went to our babes. All in all it was an amazing weekend with the love of my forever, and I can't wait to see what another year of marriage brings us!

*Jaden's first day of pre-school*

Well the first day of my baby's last year in pre-school has come! I truly can't believe he will be in kindergarden next year, makes me feel old and sad haha. I have loved every moment of him being in pre-school, and think it's worth every dime for all that he has learned and will continue to learn. He will be more than prepared and ready for the big school adventure ahead of him and it's all thanks to his amazing teacher Mrs. Hope!!

*Honeymoon*

Josh and I went on a wonderful honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico for 8 day 7 nights in an all inclusive resort. We had a blast from relaxing on the beach, swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling, all the way to taking a tour to the Chichen-itza Pyramids (that was Josh's favorite). All and all it was a very fun and romantic honeymoon and we owe it all to my new in-laws for making it possible!
